EU–Liberia Voluntary Partnership Agreement on forest law enforcement, governance and trade in timber products: termination

The European Parliament gave its consent to the termination of the Voluntary Partnership Agreement between the EU and Liberia on forest law enforcement, governance and trade in timber products. The agreement, which entered into force on 1 December 2013, is being terminated because Liberia has not been able to honour its commitments. Parliament's consent means the Council can proceed with the termination.
