The agreement includes commitments on equal treatment of Parliament and the Council, timely information on initiatives, and the presence of Commissioners in plenary and committees. It also strengthens Parliament's right to request legislation and improves oversight of emergency measures and international agreements. Parliament instructed its President to sign the agreement and arrange for its publication in the Official Journal.
