- Amendment of the European Electoral Act allowing Members to vote in plenary by proxy voting during pregnancy and after giving birth
The draft Council decision amends the European Electoral Act to let MEPs who are pregnant or have recently given birth vote by proxy in plenary for up to three months before the expected birth and six months after. Parliament gave its consent to the Council's position, which also says the MEP statute and Parliament's rules should set out the general and detailed conditions for such delegation. Objection under Rule 114(3) · delegated act
Union framework for the national calculation of life-cycle global warming potentialThe European Parliament voted to reject an objection to a Commission delegated regulation that sets a Union-wide method for calculating the life-cycle global warming potential of buildings. The objection failed, so the Commission measure goes ahead as planned. The Parliament calls on the Commission to submit a new, more limited delegated regulation by the third quarter of 2026.

Objection under Rule 114(3) · delegated act
Certification methodologies for permanent carbon removals activitiesParliament rejected an objection to the Commission's delegated regulation setting certification methodologies for permanent carbon removals. The measure therefore goes ahead, meaning the Commission's methodologies will apply. The objection argued the methodologies did not cover all lifecycle emissions and lacked monitoring for biochar.

Objection under Rule 114(3) · delegated act
Union list of projects of common interest and projects of mutual interestThe Commission's delegated regulation amends the EU list of projects of common interest and projects of mutual interest for energy infrastructure. Parliament rejected the objection to this measure, so the Commission's updated list will go ahead. The resolution had argued the list under-prioritises renewables and electrification, and includes fossil fuel projects linked to corruption and human rights concerns.

Maximum residue levels for acetamipridThe draft Commission regulation would raise maximum residue levels for the pesticide acetamiprid in honey to 1 mg/kg, following a previous increase in July 2025. Parliament rejected the objection to this measure, so the Commission's regulation goes ahead as planned. The resolution argued the increase could harm pollinators and human health, citing scientific studies and regulatory classifications.

Objection under Rule 114(3) · delegated act
Simplification of the content and presentation of information to be disclosed concerning environmentally sustainable activities and simplification of certain technical screening criteria for determining whether economic activities cause no significant harm to environmental objectivesThe Commission's delegated regulation simplifies reporting on environmentally sustainable activities and the technical screening criteria for the 'do no significant harm' principle. Parliament rejected the objection, so the Commission measure goes ahead as planned. The regulation narrows the scope of substances of very high concern covered and introduces a materiality threshold for reporting.

Objection under Rule 115(2) and (3) · implementing measure
Deforestation Regulation - list of countries presenting a low or high riskParliament objected to the Commission's list of countries with low or high deforestation risk for products sold in the EU, arguing the data is outdated and the method flawed. The objection was adopted, so the Commission measure is blocked and cannot take effect. Parliament calls for a more accurate, transparent and flexible risk classification, including a possible fourth 'negligible risk' category.
