Parliament adopted its position on a proposed law revising the EU's visa suspension mechanism, which allows temporarily suspending visa-free travel for third countries. The revision adds new suspension grounds, such as hybrid threats and investor citizenship schemes, and extends suspension periods. Parliament calls on the Commission to refer the matter back if it substantially amends its proposal.
