EC-São Tomé and Príncipe Fisheries Partnership Agreement (2025–2029): Implementing Protocol

EU-USA-Iceland-Norway Air Transport Agreement, and EU-Iceland-Norway Ancillary Agreement on the application of the Air Transport Agreement

InvestEU Fund strategic investments in the field of defence

The Commission delegated regulation of 28 August 2025 broadens the definition of eligible strategic investments under the InvestEU Fund to include more defence technologies and products for military use, and extends eligibility to entities in associated countries or controlled by non-associated countries under certain conditions. Parliament rejected the objection, so the Commission measure goes ahead and the expanded defence investment rules will apply. Parliament had asked the Commission to refrain from using delegated acts to change InvestEU's scope and to submit any further changes as a legislative proposal under the ordinary legislative procedure.

EC-Côte d’Ivoire Fisheries Partnership Agreement – Protocol on the implementation of the Agreement for 2025-2029

The European Parliament gave its consent to the conclusion of the Protocol (2025–2029) implementing the Fisheries Partnership Agreement between the EU and Côte d’Ivoire. The Protocol sets an annual EU contribution of €740,000, with €305,000 for access rights and €435,000 for sectoral support, and authorizes 25 tuna purse seiners and 7 surface longliners to fish in Côte d’Ivoire’s waters. It aims to ensure sustainable tuna fishing in line with ICCAT rules and to support local fisheries development, including measures against illegal fishing.

Protocol on the Implementation of the Fisheries Partnership Agreement between the European Community and the Republic of Guinea-Bissau (2024-2029)

The protocol aims to promote sustainable fisheries management, decent working conditions, and the fight against illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing.

Conclusion of an agreement between the European Union and the government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh on certain aspects of air services
