Parliament adopted its position on a proposed Council regulation amending the rules of the European High Performance Computing Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC). The regulation aims to support setting up and operating AI Gigafactories in Europe, which are large-scale facilities for developing frontier AI models. Parliament approved the Commission proposal as amended and calls on the Commission to alter its proposal accordingly.
