   Parliament adopted a resolution on public access to documents, covering the years 2022 to 2024. The text reaffirms that access to documents is a fundamental right and calls for a culture of transparency where disclosure is the rule and secrecy the exception. It also urges timely decisions on requests and early access to legislative and trilogue documents, among other measures.

2. Harmonised requirements in the internal market on transparency of third countries interest representation

   Parliament adopted its position on a proposed EU directive setting common transparency rules for interest representation carried out on behalf of third countries. The directive aims to harmonise registration requirements across member states and create an EU-level access point for national registers. Parliament asks the Commission to refer the matter back if it substantially amends its proposal.

3. Amendments to Parliament’s Rules of Procedure concerning the declaration of input (Article 8 of Annex I to the Rules of Procedure)

   Parliament adopted amendments to its Rules of Procedure concerning the declaration of input, as set out in Article 8 of Annex I. The amendments will enter into force on the first day of the next part-session. Parliament instructed its President to forward the decision to the Council and the Commission for information.

4. Activities of the European Ombudsman – annual report 2023

   Parliament adopted its position on the European Ombudsman's 2023 annual report, endorsing the report's findings and recommendations.
