Deforestation Regulation - list of countries presenting a low or high riskParliament objected to the Commission's list of countries with low or high deforestation risk for products sold in the EU, arguing the data is outdated and the method flawed. The objection was adopted, so the Commission measure is blocked and cannot take effect. Parliament calls for a more accurate, transparent and flexible risk classification, including a possible fourth 'negligible risk' category.
