Parliament rejected the objection, so the Commission measure goes ahead and the expanded defence investment rules will apply. Parliament had asked the Commission to refrain from using delegated acts to change InvestEU's scope and to submit any further changes as a legislative proposal under the ordinary legislative procedure.

Parliament rejected the objection to this delegated regulation, so the Commission's measure goes ahead as planned. The resolution had asked the Commission to keep Gibraltar on the list and to submit a new act, but that request has no effect now.
