  1. Termination of the Voluntary Partnership Agreement between the European Union and the Republic of Cameroon on forest law enforcement governance and trade in timber and derived products to the Union

    The European Parliament gave its consent to the termination of the Voluntary Partnership Agreement between the EU and Cameroon on forest law enforcement, governance and trade in timber and derived products. This means the agreement, which entered into force in 2011 and was tacitly renewable, will expire on 30 November 2025. Parliament's consent follows the Council's request and the committee's recommendation, and its position will be forwarded to the Council, the Commission, and the governments and parliaments of member states and Cameroon.
