The agreement modifies EU tariff-rate quotas on agricultural, fish and industrial goods to account for the United Kingdom's withdrawal from the European Union, splitting existing volumes between the EU and the UK. Parliament gave its consent to the agreement, which adjusts the quota for husked (brown) rice with Pakistan, among others. The consent allows the Council to adopt the decision concluding the agreement.
