Protecting EU consumers against the practices of certain e-commerce platforms: the case of child-like sex dolls, weapons and other illegal products and material
Motion for a resolution · voted 12:42–12:48
Non-binding texts in which Parliament states its position on a topic. They carry political weight but do not create law.
Parliament adopted a resolution on protecting consumers in the EU from certain e-commerce platforms selling child-like sex dolls, weapons and other illegal products and materials. Parliament adopted the text as its official position, condemning the availability of such goods on SHEIN and stressing that these practices breach EU law and threaten consumers and minors. Parliament calls on the Commission to move from dialogue to decisive enforcement, and on member state authorities to use all enforcement tools at their disposal.

One day of voting in plenary. Each subject is a report, resolution, agreement or objection; they are grouped by kind of decision, and each group says what “adopted” means there.
The ballots
Members vote on amendments and on parts of the text first, then on the text as a whole. That final, decisive vote is the result shown at the top of each subject.
Who voted how
Only roll-call votes record each Member’s vote — open one for every name and the breakdown by group. A show of hands records the outcome only.
Document & procedure
Each subject rests on a document (a committee report, a motion, a Council or Commission text) and belongs to a procedure, the whole file that can span years.
