Parliament approved the appointment of Miguel Carcaño Saenz Cenzano as Vice-Chair of the Single Resolution Board for five years. The Single Resolution Board handles the resolution of failing banks under the EU's Single Resolution Mechanism. The decision follows a hearing and evaluation of the candidate's credentials by the Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs.
