Is pleased that the climate mainstreaming target of 30 % is projected to be exceeded in the current MFF; regrets, however, that the Union is not on track to meet the target for biodiversity-related expenditure; considers that the targets in the IIA have been a major factor in driving climate and biodiversity spending; recalls, furthermore, the importance of the ‘do no significant harm’ principle, as defined in the Taxonomy Regulation12 , in implementing the Union budget;
