Highlights that Sudan is facing one of the world’s worst humanitarian crises and in this context urges the EU Member States to refrain from returning Sudanese nationals and to provide safe and regular pathways for Sudanese people seeking refuge; rejects the unlawful deportation of Sudanese people by the Egyptian authorities, including where EU-funded security forces are involved; calls on neighbouring states to uphold the principle of non-refoulement and protect Sudanese people; |
