Calls on the Syrian Government to do its utmost to guarantee effective and efficient control over the camps and refrain from any action that might embolden the remaining Daesh fighters; stresses the need for enhanced protection for women, including safe humanitarian access and gender-sensitive services; | 10. Calls on the Member States to reverse any decision that suspends asylum applications by Syrians and to guarantee a full, individual and merit-based assessment of each asylum claim in a fair and transparent procedure; urges Member States, if decision-making on asylum claims is suspended, to limit this suspension to a short and clearly defined period of time; |
