Highlights that the returning of Iranians to Iran in the current context of mass killings and detentions is deeply immoral and in breach of international law, and therefore calls on the EU Member States to ensure that Iranian nationals currently visiting or residing in the EU can prolong their visas until such a time as they can safely return to Iran; urges the Member States to automatically suspend any returns to Iran, in particular of people whose asylum procedures are under appeal; |
