| Ua. whereas the shift in the geopolitical landscape, coupled with the new US presidential administration under Donald Trump, has led the United States to clearly state that continued support for Ukraine is no longer sustainable or productive; whereas, despite ongoing commitments from the EU, Ukraine’s military situation remains unresolved, with an escalation of military aid proving ineffective in the changing global context; whereas both the United States and the Russian Federation have now prioritised the pursuit of a peaceful resolution, and it is therefore essential that the EU also aligns with this approach, placing greater emphasis on diplomatic efforts and negotiations to achieve a peaceful settlement of the conflict; |
