Reiterates the need to maintain a specific, enhanced and separate fisheries and aquaculture fund in the 2028-2034 multiannual financial framework, in line with the demands of the entire EU sector; considers that integrating the current European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund into a single fund would be detrimental to the sector; calls for adequate budgetary resources to enable advances to be made in terms of sustainability, fleet renewal, competitiveness, digitalisation and decarbonisation, while also ensuring territorial cohesion and generational renewal;
