Highlights that the years-long ban on lending to nuclear projects has had a negative effect on low and zero emissions projects; calls on all the major international financial institutions and the EU, in particular the European Investment Bank, to ensure technological neutrality, and for nuclear projects (e.g. small modular reactors, advanced modular reactors, nuclear fusion) to have access to adequate and equal climate financing on an equal footing to other energy sources (i.e. renewables);
