116a. Expresses concern that Petrobras is seeking environmental approval for new fossil fuel extraction projects, particularly in the Foz do Amazonas basin near Belém; considers that such potential projects, which would lock in new fossil fuel infrastructure, could undermine the credibility of the Brazilian COP presidency and have further negative implications; considers that, if this project advances, the EU should refrain from importing any fossil fuels from these areas;
