	Ja. whereas by authorising the import of products whose cultivation is prohibited within the Union, in particular genetically modified organisms (GMOs), the Commission is contributing to the creation of conditions of unfair competition; whereas this creates a competitive imbalance that penalises European farmers and undermines the Union’s food sovereignty;
