8. Calls on the EIB to play an active role in supporting the continuity and completion of projects initiated under the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF), safeguarding the objectives beyond the cut-off date; underlines that EIB financing and technical assistance can provide a critical bridge to ensure that RRF-funded projects deliver their intended economic and social impact;

8. Calls on the Commission to urgently present, by 31 August 2028, a proposal to extend the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF) implementation period so the full amount of its funding can be used; calls on the EIB to play an active role in supporting the continuity and completion of projects beyond the new cut-off date should it prove necessary after the extension; underlines that EIB financing and technical assistance can provide an additional bridge to ensure that RRF-funded projects deliver their intended economic and social impact;
