Underlines the strategic importance of EU partnerships with countries in the Indo-Pacific, such as Japan and the Republic of Korea, which have already signed SDPs, and encourages the rapid conclusion of negotiations with Australia and the exploration of further partnerships with other countries in the region, notably New Zealand; emphasises that Euro-Atlantic and Indo-Pacific security challenges are closely intertwined; emphasises that deepening cooperation with India could be mutually beneficial; underlines the need to deepen cooperation on security and defence with Taiwan; | 21.
