6. Notes that the overall budget of the Court for 2023 amounted to EUR 175 059 922, equivalent to an increase of 7,97 % from EUR 162 141 175 in 2022; notes that the increase was primarily due to salary adjustments and nine new temporary posts related to NextGenerationEU; notes that for 2023 88,5 % of appropriations were for its Members and staff, while 11,5 % were for buildings, equipment and miscellaneous expenditure;
6. Notes that the overall budget of the Court for 2023 amounted to EUR 175 059 922, equivalent to an increase of 7,97 % from EUR 162 141 175 in 2022; notes that the increase was primarily due to salary adjustments and nine new temporary posts related to NextGenerationEU; notes that for 2023 88,5 % of appropriations were for its Members and staff, while 11,5 % were for buildings, equipment and miscellaneous expenditure; welcomes the action of the Court, whose audits and recommendations have made it possible to eliminate inappropriate expenditures through corrective measures, thereby saving significant amounts for European taxpayers, given the poor budget management by the Commission, which undoubtedly needs the Court’s guidance and recommendations;
