The Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development calls on the Committee on International Trade, as the committee responsible, to incorporate the following suggestions into its motion for a resolution:
– having regard to the draft Council decision (12421/2025),
At its meeting of 29 June 2026, the Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development considered the proposal for a Council decision on the conclusion,– onhaving behalfregard ofto the European Union, of thedraft Interim Agreement on Trade between the European Union and the United Mexican States.States (12422/2025),
The Committee agreed with the proposed conclusion and decided to convey its opinion to the Committee on International Trade, as the committee responsible, pursuant to Rule 57.
– having regard to the request for consent submitted by the Council in accordance with Article 91(1), Article 100(2), and Article 207(4), first subparagraph, in conjunction with Article 218(6), second subparagraph, point (a), and Article 218(7) of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (C10-0126/2026),
